Our laboratory is also equipped with a brand new Instron thermal chamber as a complementary accessory to the Instron dynamometer, which enables electromechanical characterization of innovative smart materials, such as smart bricks and smart mortar, under varying temperature conditions ranging from well below zero celsius to many tens of degrees above zero.
